Executive Director Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Administration:
   Provide visionary and operational leadership to ensure the organization’s long-term success. Develop and implement strategic plans in line with the preschool’s mission and goals across all locations.
   Oversee implementation of daily operations, ensuring a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment at each site.
   Develop and implement operational policies and procedures across all schools.
   Assist with the management of budgets, financial planning, and reporting to ensure financial sustainability for all locations.
   Preparing budgets and allocating programs funds for all locations.
   Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations at each preschool.
2. Educational Program Management:
   Ensure, implement, and evaluate a developmentally appropriate and high-quality educational programs and curricula for each location.
   Foster an environment that encourages learning through play, exploration, and creativity with innovative teaching practices and student-centered learning.
   Monitor and assess the educational progress of children and adjust programs as necessary across all sites.
   Meet with parents and staff to discuss students’ progress
3. Staff Management and Development:
   Recruit, hire, train, and supervise qualified staff for each location.
   Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
   Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive work environment across all preschools.
   Assist staff in communicating with parents and children, and managing parent interactions.
4. Facilities:
   Ensure that our facilities are maintained and cleaned according to state regulations
5. Family and Community Engagement:
   Build and maintain strong relationships with families, addressing their needs and concerns.
   Promote family involvement in the preschool through events, meetings, and communications.
   Develop partnerships with community organizations to enhance the preschool’s programs and services.
6. Marketing and Public Relations:
   Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain families at each location.
   Represent the preschool in the community and at events to build its reputation and visibility.
   Manage the preschool’s online presence, including the website and social media.
