Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, and communal areas.

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum all floors.

• Dust and clean office furniture, windows, walls, and fixtures.

• Remove trash, replace liners, and ensure waste bins are emptied regularly.

• Maintain the cleanliness of glass partitions, mirrors, and other reflective surfaces.

• Stock and replenish cleaning supplies, including soap, paper towels, and tissues.

• Spot-clean stains from walls, doors, and light switches.

• Keep outdoor areas free of debris and litter.

• Perform occasional deep cleaning tasks as assigned.

• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or maintenance experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to work independently and follow a structured cleaning schedule.

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.

• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.

• Good communication skills and professionalism.

• Knowledge of proper cleaning products and equipment usage.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Cleaning Techniques – Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures for different surfaces, including glass, wood, tile, and carpets.

• Sanitation & Disinfection – Understanding how to properly disinfect high-touch areas to prevent germs and bacteria buildup.

• Floor Care – Ability to sweep, mop, scrub, buff, and vacuum floors using the appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.

• Waste Management – Proper disposal of trash and recyclables while following waste separation guidelines.

• Basic Maintenance – Performing minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging sinks, or reporting necessary repairs.

• Use of Cleaning Equipment – Experience with janitorial tools like vacuum cleaners, buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers.

• Restocking & Inventory Management – Keeping track of cleaning supplies and restocking restrooms and common areas as needed.

• Safety Procedures – Knowledge of cleaning product safety, hazardous material handling, and emergency cleaning protocols.
